just to let everyone know the land owner that has the property now has had it in his family since about 1860. i talked to him the other day and he said he would find his deed and let me know who owned the land prior to them. that may shed a little light on the subject. thanks again for the info

Don't know abut there but in Oklahoma the complete history of ownership of the land is on the abstract. But of course OK was Indian Territory and the history only goes back to someone like, "Amos Redcloud, a Cherokee Indian", (example only). Monty
