Need Help on ID item found on Honeymoon Petersburg, VA

Yes you read that right. Honeymoon ( The Romantic that's me ) 1986, Chester VA I think we stayed around Petersburg, VA. And we also went first to the Bahamas this was on the last few days of the(10 days) Honeymoon.... :-)

Where we were digging we did find a lot of Civil War Items typical stuff Bullets, 3 ring, 2 ring & Ball. I wanted a shell fragment. I ask someone before we left if this was from a cannonball.

He was not sure. If this is not a shell fragment it will be thrown out weight is 2 5/8 ounces ... Is there anyway to know what it is from...like 6lb cannonball ?

Looks like shell fragment to me. If it was found on ground that seen action, and was among other CW relics, I'd say that's what it is. Great find.

Maybe it's time for a second honeymoon [emoji23]

I know the Honeymoon is over now, I ask (really) she said "He*l No" But she would go back to the Bahamas :-)
