Need help/info on my "eagle" button

Just found this today. It's a little bigger than a quarter. I would guess some type of military but have have no idea which branch or any idea of what time line it comes from? It does say "WATERBURY CO." on the back along with a few other words I can't make out if that helps any. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Modern (1902-present) general service military button. Also known as the "Great Seal" button. Nice find!

Nice great seal button! I've only found one and remember the excitement as it came out of the ground. Congrats.
