Need help IDing

While doing some swinging today at a park...I hit this and it rang up a woppin 90 on my AT Pro...
I know it's not a old old relic but I'm scratching my head as to what it is...it has a hollow barrel...maybe some type of tool for doing survey work?

What does the writing on it read?

It's an electrical crimp splice. I can read NICOPRESS on the right side and also GRV - P
which is the groove on the tool you use for crimping it.
