Need help identifying time period

Found this effigy rock I believe to be a duck in the Conasauga river . I have found several effigy rocks in the same area . Would like to know time period . This find was on the Tennessee Georgia line on private property . I have taken several pictures showing both sides of the stone, close up frontal view of face and body .

I always weigh Pareidolia into My Thoughts.

true Pareidolia to me means if you flip it over it looks like something else or completely nothing.
though the first one changes slightly, like a arrow head, you still see the same general shape. only the markings inside are different
which is good enough for my belief system

Fossils, yes. Those are "natural" as well. We were talking about artifacts - implying, and defined by, the hand of man having worked them.

again age can cause worked areas to be warn off , just like regular rocks can have things worn off by water, scraping and wind

Natives observed subjects.
Unless a species of fowl existed with an upward tilting bill in the area that time has erased, it's too far off scale.


Keep looking. There are more relics there. Somewhere.

Can’t wait to hear some of u guys when I post pictures of my rock with a bird of prey painted on it. Probably will say someone painted on a rock and thru it in the river lol . But that’s okay to I have learned just to ignore some of these rude comments and one comment could be interpreted as racist so the guy u made the comment about the Jewish duck that was not funny or nice and I think grounds to be kicked off here . I think most of u non believers hunt points and don’t have an eye for much more . That’s my opinion so let’s all be nice and quit with the mean comments and be civil . Happy Hunting

Sits in front of me on the desk, keeping me safe.

That's a Typical tree Knot shape. If not wood, I'd say Petrified Tree Knot. pretty cool

What you call non-believers are people who don't agree with your assessment. In the one pic I posted above, I really do see a frog. His/it's face is in 3/4 profile and looking in the general direction of the viewer/camera. This is kind of my point. You can see a LOT of things in nature that our minds will form into familiar objects or creatures. That doesn't make them artifacts.

And you are off base on the whole racism thing. It's an argument people turn to when they want to shut someone up. It was a harmless joke. You didn't like it. Ok. I don't think you have an artifact. I thought you posted it here for feedback. I guess you only want adulation. So, here's some from me.
