Need Help Identifying these 2 stones

Hello, I started going through my mineral collection I have had since I was a child. I noticed these two and am unsure what they are. No idea on the reddish/pink stone.. but the purple one seems to be a "fancy" sapphire corundum with a violet hue? I have seen a star on the top, but was unsuccessful to get it in any picture. Thank you!!

The first one looks like rose quartz

I was wondering that, but I can't seem to find a raw rose quartz that looks like mine. So I wondered if it was something else.

Try adding the word conglomerate to your search.
Again, I may be wrong.
