Need Help Identify....possible breast plate???

Buddy of mine found this about 10 inches down in an old park. No writing on it. Possible civil war breast plate??

Not an American military plate. Gotta see the back for attachments to tell what it is from. Could be a horse rosette. Dang cool looking find!!

It's not Civil War military. Looks like a horse item, and whoever owned it has some money!
