Went to a small old school yard that has a lot of history. The oldest coin found there was a KG III. I have pretty much hunted this area out and targets are pretty hard to come by and I only look for targets 6" or deeper there. So I went there with my Nox 800 and my new 17 inch coil. Right off the bat I got a nice 12 signal turned out to be a 1883 v Nic. Then dug a horse tack buckle and then a buff, a piece of lead that I thought was a fired bullet. Then a part of a dinky toy. Then I hit a fairly deep target turnout to be a blowhole button, then another deep target that was a 1800's two piece that I could see was military. Then a target that looks like a copper ring but I'm not sure. The last target was the top of a two piece button that has a crest on it and some writing but I can't make out what it says ( might be latin) as it's to bent up.

You made some great saves at the old school yard!
This site has obviously seen a ton of activity over the past 150+ years.

Love that early brass ring find too,
Dave

Great finds from what sounds like a hammered site! Well Done :icon_thumleft:
