Hey all;
I have these two fasteners from an old site, which also can have more modern artifacts on it.
The first one is a button or cuff link I guess, which a design applied to it, The colored face looks like it may even be plastic but the brass looks pretty well patina'd
so, not sure what or when it is. The ball is not cast with the stem, it can spin. Did it go into a socket? Anyone seen anything like it? I didn't do very well with a google search.
The next one has glass inside a brass button shape. There must have been something decorative inside that's gone.
The glass is slipping inside. The back looks like it may have been some type of snap? not sure about date either.
Seen one?
There are no markings on either item.
