Need help deciding

I have the chance to pick up a Treasure Hunter All Vision Pro for around $50, practically brand new. Anyone have experience with this detector or the brand? It retails for around $350 or so.

It's china made junk dude, like a kids toy (except, not as good)..

avoid like the plague, waste of $$

P.S.

they sell for $158 Brand new on the internet (not $350) (but is still a rip-off)...

I'd go with the Garrett 250 for a 1st time machine (brand new for $200) at

www.kellycodetectors.com

except it's 100xs better quality than the machine you're talking about..

I purchased a Treasure Hunter "AquaVison" Pro off of ebay. Good to 200ft %yr warranty.
The first dive to a whopping 22ft, it flooded. Sent it back to them as they requested in my emails to them......have not seen my replacement yet.
Still waiting. ( I also have a Garrett 250, great machine for the money!)

Please stay with a well known respected brand and if you can buy a like new detector that retails for $350 for $50 what does that tell you. Stay away from it !!!!!!!!! HH Bill

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about picking one up for my wife to play with, but with all the negative responses, I guess I'll just spend the extra 150 and pick up the low model Prizm from Whites.
