need help dating a site

found this brick and a few others in a creek in western pa. It is light and feels ceramic. Anyone know when they were made. I wanna climb the hill and find where they came from. IMG_0874.JPGIMG_0873.JPGIMG_0872.JPG
 

Reminds me of brick used for ovens, and maybe 50 years old. It's been round a good while and still being used.

I was doing some research on the Livermore fire brick Company from California, in 1914 they started experimenting making brick from Diatomaceous earth, brick was standard size but weighed one-fifth of the weight. I believe they were used for lining refrigerators in meat shops, breweries etc... replacing scarcer to find cork
just a suggestion, cool looking stamp tho!

I think highnam has it. I've never seen a hollow fire brick, but this design with the hollows would be great in a cold environment!

Looks like the ceramic bricks used in gas space heaters. The hexagonal pattern is a giveaway.
