Looks 1960's I have dug a few like it in the past but I'm not a cap gun expert

After cleaning it it reveals a bison. What company is this?

Not a bison, it's a Texas long horn. I probably had one of those cap guns in the late '40's. I remember the long horn grips, but don't remember if they are exactly like that.

The maker is right just not the type. There is no star on the grips but just below where the barrel used to be. Also the trigger guard is different than any of the ones I've seen. Thanks for everybody's help!
