anyone in the area of western nc, near ''shelton laural'', might want to research the area during the civil war....a group of ''soldiers'' entered this place, pillaged it, rounded up the 13 males there, marched them a distance away from the community and then proceeded to blow each of thems brains out....most likely leaving behind an unknown cache or three....................t

might have, most likely did...but, people throughout history have been known to bury caches of valuables, tell no one, die or be killed, and in that lies this hobby....g
