I love it but I'm thinking more like colonial and less NA due to the gloss and possibly made on a pottery wheel but I could be wrong. More like crockery I think. It still could be really old and more than an antique though. I have been lucky enough to find some crockery in my hunting spot too and love finding it. Tells a story of it's own that is really cool. A great find!

Don't believe that's Indian. Colonial was a good guess, and maybe early day settlers in the area. Still, this indicates a site to give a second look and scan with the detector.

I can't tell size from pics but are you sure it's not clay pigeon from target shooting ? Iv picked them up before thinking I had something good only to be let down
