Native American medicine bag????

It's not a Medicine bag, at least not like the ones from any of the tribes here in Montana. Looks too small, and wrong type of leather. Just my observation of the types that I have seen. They are beaded and feathers and dream catchers are attached.

Immediately, like "old digger", I'm not getting Native American vibes on this one.

If I were to give my two cents on the origin, I think I'd put one of those cents on Northern Africa.

Just my opinion but I think it is done to cleanly and to much time to be either African or Mexican

Don’t know that’s why I posted it

Applique ? Not sure if that's the right word. Does the brown stitching attach the piece ? Or is it just a fake edging on the applique, maybe using glue or other hidden threads to attach it ?

I prefer the more primitive leanings on things of this sort, so I'm hoping it doesn't have a hidden magnet clasp, as they like to throw those on. It doesn't look like it in the pictures.

Yes, this has features that I like to see, made with a good eye towards design. Just can't track it back to a culture, hope someone knows.

It is all sewn no magnets no metal clasps no glue. All leather is weaved through leather on front
