I find the best way to get spiders out of the house, is to put a glass over it, slide a piece of cardboard underneath, and just let it go when you are outside. Never kill them, but then we dont get poisonous spiders in the UK......I don't think :icon_scratch:

I don't think there are any native poisonous spiders, but... you do have some illegal immigrant spiders who have stowed away.

we have brown recluse and black widows here but ive never seen either.

Looks like a "Charlie Brown Recluse" to me...distinctive abdomen that has his face and head shape. Spider has low self-esteem and is occasioally called a "Blockhead".
Mostly attracted to little red-haired girls.
