Hi everyone.
Just wanted to finish my post about the French trip. In this part I will show the rest of the coins and items that I believe are worth sharing in the post.
First of all, my only old silver coin found during the trip.
Napoleon Bonaparte 1812 Demi Franc (atelier Paris).
The details on this thing are so sharp you could cut your fingers. I pulled it out of the ground pretty much in the same state it is today. Extremely excited about this find as it was an other of my bucket list coins and strangely enough of the exact year I wanted it to be - 1812 the year of the Napoleon's ill fated Campaign against Russia.
An other awesome coin was an absolutely huge and stunning French Revolution Period.
Un Decime L'An 8 -1799 (atelier Paris)
An other large coin was of the early revolutionary period French Revolution Commemorative
Deux Sols 1792 Not in as good of the condition but still a great find.
A nice French Royal copper
Young Louis XV 1721
A few Liard de France Of the young Louis XIV (1650's)
A few Royal coins in so-so shape (Louis XIV,XV,XVI)
A very cool late Medieval to Renaissance Trebuchet balance - Weighing scale part with the crown.
A nice shoe buckle embedded with glass beads. I would guess from 1600-1700
A huge bronze bell. Never found a similar sized one in North America
A fox hunting button. I would guess from early to mid 1800's
Some early copper buckles, bronze rings and other objects.
Few unknown items.
