Wanted to share this recent find.
It's Napa County obsidian, found in a vineyard that recent wind blew clean.
I think it might be quite old.
It has grinding on the big, knobby base end.
Most likely it had a longer blade originally, but was resharpened to a nub.
The big lateral strike marks where base meets blade (which is upward in my palm).
Curious if anybody can tell me anything more....
