Hello all,

I was out sunday at a state park, near an old cellar hole, i dug a silver ring, a button and this mystery object. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this before, it says ALY at top and 43 in middle and 187 at the bottom. I think its brass or could be copper, anyone have any idea what it could be?? I looked in this state park for the other half or piece, but couldn't find any. Thanks for looking,

Front

Thanks for everyones help identifying this mystery object. I really had no clue what it could be from or what it was. I found it in a old parking lot that they had scraped up the old dirt into piles, my friend also using a ctx3030, wanted to search the piles of dirt, I chose to search what was left after they scraped up the dirt, gravel lot and thats when I found this railroad plate. The ring and button was found near an old cellar hole. Thanks again for everyons help and comments. The state park was raccoon. Good luck to all and happy hunting!
