Looks like something you would find in my area. Lots of people come from Arcata to hunt here...about 2.5 hours away.

If those are your tailings, it looks like a mill site. the ore was crushed to a powder, and the minerals removed.The machine in the picture says Joshua Hendy machine works. is most likely the crusher. Google is your friend
