Mystery from 1920's home site
I found this object yesterday, just wondering if anyone might know what it is. I found it VERY deep with my AT pro, I had a faint tone with no numbers, so I turned my sensitivity all the way up and got a 81 at 8 inches deep when I pinpointed it. 20 inches deep later I pulled out this. It was the only thing in that dirt, I kept checking with my machine and pro pointer all the way down and afterwards when I was done. The writing on it says D & S MFG. CO. seneca falls, NY, cyclone No. 3
What do you think guys, there was a feral inside the big hole also that would have sealed whatever fit in there, it has threads on the inside, so it is evidently some sort of cap for whatever widjet it came off of.
