Sorry about double posting this, I really feel like this could be something really cool (wishful thinking) It is copper for sure ( I'd bet a huge amount of money that it is copper) Please if anyone could help ID this or advise on how to ID it, It would be greatly appreciated. I just got done taking measurements, weighing, photographing that mystery item.
It weighs 16 grams
1 and five sixteens inches diameter and about a 1/8 inch thick.
Here are a mess of pix.
I have some shots with my only left facing 1810 large cent for some reference, most of those are the reverse then I flipped both items over for one shot. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. I will put all these pix on "what is it" forum also.

Thanks again for anyone's help or advise.

I don't know why you'd put your thumb right in the middle of the coin you want IDed, so many times.

Anyway it "could be" because the edge "ENGRAILED" and diameter are a match for 1824 Nova Scotia one penny token. (same design also in 1832)

If you could take a couple more pics. just the one coin, no thumb, and no flash, might be able to get you a pos. ID

Does the letter in your pic line up? If it's on the other side, which I think it might be, we could look at that possibility.

I think you might of got it Iron Patch, Last night I was trying my hardest to find a coin that had a harp in it. I thought I'd seen one before on the site and thought that was what I was seeing last night. My only question is when I look at the edge it looks like it is two coins stuck together? What do you think about that? Its the very first two pictures at the start of the thread?

That is normal and if you look above to the one I posted you can see the same type of edge.

George III - Penny - 1805

I think we nailed it (haaaaaaaaaaaaaa you nailed it)

Thank you Iron Patch, Your the bomb! Thanks to everyone else (NS) sorry about my thumb, gee I'm dumb!

Iron Patch is good, but he doesn't have x-ray vision ...yet! Nice coin though, congrats!

Yep ironpatch nailed it. The dots that make a diamond really stand out. Nice find!

Its hard to show in the pix, but I can just make out the harp and the crown too.

Thanks guys! This hobby is so exciting, I just got off the phone with a new permission to hunt what I'm hoping is virgin ground. Old new jersey girl and I are going to start it tomorrow. I'm very excited, if this pans out to be what I think it might be, we could have some nice finds to post tomorrow.
