My wifes best find

My wife's best find but whats it from. We where caretaking on 190 acres. We where hiking on the property next to it which has a old house that was a stage coach stop. This place is out in no where in the town of Aguanga Ca. My wife found this in the stream when we where hiking. I think it might be made of aluminum.

Hard to tell what the size is of each segment. So I'm just winging it here. I'm guessing it's a section of a concho belt. These were popular during the 1940s & 1950s. Usually they were made of silver or silverplated copper.

That is a great find. I would be proud of that too. If you can, I would hunt that property. Who knows what is there since it was an old stage stop.

I agree thats its probably part of a belt or hat band.
