WE WOULD ALL LOVE TO SEE CLOSE UP PICTURES OF WHAT YOU FOUND.

Funkman ,

If getting out and detecting brought you joy, then as they say in the credit card commercial, That is Priceless!

when I found this one it was so caked up with dirt I didn't know what it was. Thought it was a spark plug gap tool from a garage.

Cool stuff, Funkman. Not bad for a couple months. When I was younger, it took me a couple years to find a decent pile of stuff like that.

Love the Merc and the good luck badge. That fish is pretty neat, too. That L-shaped relic object looks pretty old.

Rusted,

yeah I never figured out what that is. Just that it has that sloped end that if looked at closely looks like it was sharpened. Maybe some hunter used it for skinning game or something.

sorry...thought you menat the other thing....the l shaped one went back and forth on this forum from a coffin handle to a c-clamp to part of an old ice skate. Have to revisit the site to see if any more parts are there cause it is only a portion of the whole thing. maybe more are around (it was near a lake so that is why I was thinking ice skate blade but attachment looks like a handle

I like the dog tag and congrats on the Merc. :) You are doing VERY well for such a short period of time.
