I went back to the ball field that gave up a silver quarter earlier this week, but no luck on anything old.? So I went to the one across the street, equally as old, (circa 1960) and used my deep program and was able to choke up these two silver coins plus two wheaties, 1944 and 1941.? All between 5-7 inches. Both silvers are from the Denver mint.? The dime is a bit damaged. Looks like it was a casualty of a mower, but I'll take it. I'm going to try to get back there again next week.? Things are looking up.

Great job renegede, silver is ALWAYS great.HH

I'd swear that Roosie says 1943. They didn't start making Roosies until 1946... must be a 48 with some of the 8 missing.

Anyway... congrats on the silver!

Great stuff Renegade!

Congrats Renegade on finding the silver ! Keep up the good work !

Huntin' 59er

Way to go Renegade! It is strange that the Rosie looks like a 1943. What's up with that? What's it look like to you?

Happy Hunting!

I concur! Looks like a 43 Rosie from here. Really rubbed down on that side? Good job, finding silver is always a rush!
Got permission to hunt an old school that closed in the 50's so I have high hopes. After seeing this, maybe I'll swing by the local park before I hit the school.
