Are all the rings that were lost in your area ;D
I'm not sure what you are doing out there, but keep up the good work.

You're killing me with all these rings!!, I haven't had much luck in the ring department. Good finds Onion!!

I think it'a little luck and my detector is set just right to detect gold.

I dig alot of foil and pull tabs but it seems to be paying off.

I've decided to dig everything at this point. My Bounty Hunter easily discriminates but the older Whites I've been using is taking allot of getting used to. So dig everything!

You must be retired or something to have so much time on your hands to hunt everyday...
I work 8-5 and its almost dark by the time I get off work, that leaves only weekends for me,...
Nice looking ring, has to be digging all low signals to be getting so many gold rings.
My 2cents says there are probably a lot more gold rings out there than silver but you have to work 5x's as hard to get them
as you must dig practicly every signal...

I used to dig everything from nickle up. Recently I've tried to dig almost everything foil, square tab, round tab, and so on. Seems like 99.9% of the time the ID is dead on the money, No GOLD :'( I quess I should be glad the ID is so accurate, but every now & then I wouldn't mind it lying to me ;D

Again, them are some great finds,,, keep up the good work...

Awesome find! I have been skunked on gold rings for a couple of years now. Find the silver ones time to time, but none of the yellow ones. Just our of curiosity, what is you gold rings to pulltabs/foil ratio?

Thanks guys!

My detector doesn't have an ID system I just use my ears to ID.

It's a 100.00 dollar Bounty Hunter Tracker IV.

I found it to be the best detector for parks and schools but not for sand pea gravel or anything deeper then 5 inches.
I really don't want to dig deep anyway to much work.

My next detector I'm going to buy is the LOBO Super Trac for those gold nuggets I should be getting it in March.
hopfully I will be posting pic's of nuggets soon!!!!

I forgot to mention that I have figured out how to detect gold and nickles.

The settings that I use detects gold and nickels at a high tone. Thats how I can find those rings and nickles better.
