This is a very cool toy to locate sites of interest before diving and use MD.

Can go down to 600ft and the tether is 1000ft long. It has an autonomy of 8 hours.
It is not so easy to control...takes time to get use to.

Frog...
How does the "claw" work ?
Is it good at "picking things up" ?

Strong ? Able to "hold" with strength... and how much weight would it be capable of "holding" / "carry" to surface ?

The claw works fine but didn't really use it up to now. The rov is capable of holding 23Kg objects and if it has not enough power to surface, the tether can be use like a an anchor chain.

The ROV is use during summer time in Lake Leman (the lake of Geneva, Switzerland) and the rest of the year in the Med Sea.

Picture of one of the first try we did last summer in Geneva (fresh water)
