:'( poor penny jar! Better go get another one! Can't imagine those jars like that are easy to find though! That is a cool jar!

I HAD 2 OF THOSE I BOUGHT AT A GARAGE SALE ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO....
BOTH HAVE NOW BEEN BROKEN DUE TO ACCIDENTS...
THEY WERE PRETTY BEER BOTTLES...

I would have left it just the way it was after you broke it...

It looked cool with the coins spillin' out of it.

Not to mention, more room for more pennies ;D

I would say to try to get a plastic one if possible. The glass ones are pretty hard to find and easy to break.

Ignore it, and maybe it will go away.

Get one of those 5-gallon PLASTIC water bottles and get to work..or get a kid to do it for you for a small fee ;D

Now that is one large coin spill....Like everyone else stated get a 5 gallon plastic container. I use a large plastic prezel container with a screw off top...the only downside is that my daughter can reach in so I find piles of pennies around the house.

send 'em to me?

First cash 'em in at the coinstar machine and mail me the cash, so the postage is less.

Well don't that suck! I got a cool 5 gal. glass jug too. They aren't easy to come by anymore.I don't keep my change in it though. ;D Sorry about your luck.

Yep, I've seen that happen with those big, very collectable, jars. Go plastic with the penny jar and only display the glass ones.

dang, that was a cool jar too. Time to start bottle hunting again I guess. I just found an old large mason jar this past weekend that will be my "dug clad" jar until I find a better one. It beats the zip-loc they were in before.

Is that a huge Seagrams 7 bottle??

Duct tape.

Or you could just put a slot in the floor with a Saws-all and fill up the cellar. ;)
