My one and only gold coin

I found this coin in 1978 at a school that was built in 1916. Before the school was built, there was a saloon on the site.
The interesting part of the story is that my Brother-in Law found one there exactly one year earlier. Mine was only about 10 feet from where he found his. His was also a 2 1/2 dollar dated 1911.
Western & Eastern Treasures published the story on the find in the Gold and Silver Annual back in the early 1980's

what an inspiration, I know mine is out there somewhere. So far the closest I have gotten was a gold colored chunky cheese token, but I still have hope.
 

Beatiful! I have the same coin in my collection, I just bought one, a 1909 $2 1/2 Indian head in about that same condition, I love those coins! I can't imagine how thrilling it would be to find one.
