Met up with HighVDI, MetalHeadz and Steve-in-PA this morning at a cellar hole that has been productive.

My first target of the morning, around 7:15 am sun just peaking over the horizon, was my best signal. I was in an iron patch maybe only 10’ x 30’ adjacent to the cellar that I have been pulling keepers out of over the last few hunts. Keeping sensitivity at 15 (about half) has really got me liking the Nox. Perfect 26-28, 4 way signal, really tight and about 5” deep. Pulled the plug, see the silver dime edge in a clump, run over to the guys to share with the unveiling. Turned out nice.

Here is the handful.

The watch winder was a cool relic to pop out, but the ring still has me intrigued. It is very ornate, has colored stones in it, but it is gold plated over what looks like pot metal, very deteriorated. I would guess it a $5 junk ring from the mall if I had found it at a park or the beach, but deep at this site makes me wonder.

Here is some horse tack from this iron patch on Friday at lunch along with a nice button and IHP.

The rest of the gang popped LC’s, V’s and relics plus we all dug a large pocket full of shell casings, slugs, shotgun ends and some musket balls. Fun times!

Last but not least... a utensil. (They sound sooo good)

Good luck out there!

Thx! This IHP was my first coin I tried cleaning with Andres Pencils. Really happy with how nice it came out.

It's the purtiest one I've ever seen. I know some like to leave them like they were dug, but that one just pop's with some beautiful patina... Great job!!! "D"

It seemed like anything copper from the site was coming out with a sweet green patina.

That’s a great hunt

Dang, that is a good old silver coin. Killer! I don’t think I’ve held a seated coin since looking at my dad’s collection as a kid. Hoping to pull one from the dirt someday like you!

Beautifull seated dime, congrats! but my favorite is of course that IHP, nice greenie!:icon_thumleft:
