My oldest seated dime yet!!

It's been awhile since I posted. Most of my spots dried up and haven't been producing. I tried a new place today and found my oldest seated to date. A well worn 1856 O dime. I wish I had a little more time to detect but something came up and I had to leave. I can't wait to get back and see what else this ground is hiding. Happy hunting everyone!

Hopefully the weather holds out. I do most of my hunting this time of year. I mostly hunt wooded areas it's amazing how much more land is accessable once winter hits.

That's an excellent find and all though it's well worn that means it was well used so imagine all the places it had been before you found it!

Wow! That is an old dime and it looks like it spent some time changing hands before it was lost. I bet it has some stories to tell!

It was definitely in circulation for quite a while
