After gettitng accquainted with the AT Pro, I had feeling that it had better target separation than my 2500 (2500 has 10 year old technology) I have taken both several times, hunted a small area with the 2500 first, then picked up the AT and picked up lots more stuff with the AT. If I hunt with the AT Pro first, the 2500s' pickens are from slim to nothing. The only place I find the 2500 excels is in gravel parking lots, because I can null the sensitivity down to only find surface to 3 inches, which is Ideal when I only have a few minutes and want to pick up surface drops. On minimum sensitivity the AT looks like it goes to deep for what I want. The 2500 is a great machine, just for my understandings of the 2 machines the AT seems to get along a little more efficiently. My brother recently bought a 2500 but considered the ATP too. Why do you prefer the ATP?
