I was in Champaign last week visiting family and found an old home site to hunt. No real research into it's history, just an aerial view from Google Earth showing a one acre plot surrounded by fields. I would imagine it had been in existence for a while. I dug the old toy car out in the yard; but I have no clue how old it is. Still kind of cool either way. I found the St. Louis Zoo souvenir in the yard as well. The detail may be a little difficult to read but it's an elephant named "Raja". I looked it up, Raja was born in 1993, and was the first Asian elephant born in captivity in the zoo's history. So, it's not too old, but fun to recover it from the earth.
Not pictured: I dug a penny signal and discovered an old, purple, plastic easter egg containing 11 pennies. The oldest was 1960, but was my first coin "cache".
