My Movie

Are you implying that it is not possible for a recovered coin to be clean and shiny?

I am not implying anything, Art said there was snow the day
before, not a trace of snow or melted snow in the movie. If
the coin was in the ground for one year it would have dirt
sticking to it. If that coin was in the ground and 4 inches
of snow melted into the ground it would show on the coin.
Who finds a coin and rubs the dirt off, no one
who knows how coin values are ruined by hand rubbing.
He knew the coin was clean when he pulled it.
For that matter he could have palmed the coin into the
classifier and you would never see it at that distance
filming with that camera. That is a favorite trick of LRL scammers,
it was caught on TV years ago, do you actually wonder why you
scammers have no credibility.

I can pick up a rock, place a coin under it, and replace it
leaving no disturbance that a camera such as the one Art
used would capture at that distance. Go ahead, keep telling
yourself LRL's work, we don't really need to make you all look
like jokes and scammers, you do that just fine yourself.
Maybe I am implying something, that coin was not in the ground
for more that 12 hours!

Why are you calling me a scammer?

You are scamming when you post here that these pieces of
junk actually do something. I personally knew someone who
believed stories like yours and spent way more money than
he could afford with the hopes of finding buried gold.
Well he died broke without even ever finding a silver dollar
and you want to know why I consider anyone who says this
junk works is a scammer. If one person comes here, believes
they work because you say they work, and buys one,
you are a scammer!

Set one up in a stand and walk
around it with a silver coin, let us see it move.

PRECISELY! :icon_thumright: :icon_thumleft:

I could not have said it better.

Lots of folks in this world stand up in support of a "cause" or an "issue" they believe in. That is their right. However, exercising that "right" does not relieve them of the responsibility for their actions or any consequences, which may result from their public stance.

Neither does it preclude them from being labeled in kind, with the core group for which they are showing support.

Birds of a feather flock together....

Art said there was snow the daybefore, not a trace of snow or melted snow in the movie.

And it snowed again last night. At 7: 40 AM the only snow I can see is on top of the fence boards.

If the coin was in the ground for one year it would have dirt
sticking to it.

So are you saying that the coin was in the ground for less than a year. I don’t know of any way to determine when someone lost it.

If that coin was in the ground and 4 inches
of snow melted into the ground it would show on the coin.

I said it had a tan tint to it.

He knew the coin was clean when he pulled it.
Your imagination is working overtime

You had better check and find who made the movie. There has been some very good infomercials made in the last ten years on this subject.
I can pick up a rock, place a coin under it, and replace it
leaving no disturbance that a camera such as the one Art

I am glad you can do that feat. The coin was not under the rock. The movie clearly shows that the signal was under my foot.

Go ahead, keep telling
yourself LRL's work, we don't really need to make you all look
like jokes and scammers, you do that just fine yourself.

You are welcome to keep your flawed opinion but after all the prove we have put on this your opinion is not worth much

Maybe I am implying something, that coin was not in the ground
for more that 12 hours!

So now you are say it may have been there for up to 12 hours. That’s as good as anyones elses guess. ….Art

Every one of you keep repeating the same sad story. We have a thread here called “ For those that have been Scammed. Read it and then tell me how may people have told us they were scammed.

It will do nothing. You have to know by now that you are tell a out and out Falsehood. Why do you guy’s think it is smart to spread rumors?,,,

Interesting. So you are calling me a scammer because I have successfully used a LRL in the past and told my story? Are you even aware of the definition of a scammer? A scammer is a person who intentionally misleads a mark for financial gain, someone who attempts to swindle or mislead another for financial benefit. Where do you see me trying to reap a financial reward here? I do not sell LRL's. I do not make LRL's. I have simply told my story. I'm not out to force my beliefs on another. Read my past posts and you will see that.

On a side note, I'm sorry about your friend.

Oh, by the way, there are lots of metal detectors in peoples closets because they didn't find any silver dollars either.

I believe you've intrepreted this incorrectly, but it really doesn't matter as there's already a precedent for this. There was a minister (I'll have to find the articles) that was very outspoken against gay/lesbian lifestyles. Because of his position to speak to people and have them believe his words, he was sued, and lost, for inciting hatred against gay people.

This isn't a matter of one making a choice and forcing someone else to be accountable for that choice, it's a matter of one person convincing another to make a particular choice, based on what the first person told the second.

Let's take a look at Bernie Madoff. He convinced people to invest money in his group. The people made the choice to invest their funds, but ultimately it was decided that Madoff was responsible because he convinced his investors to give him their money through false promises.

This is just on a smaller scale.

I see some of you are capitalizing the 'S' in Skeptics. Is that a sign of respect?

Yes, coming from me. Although lately there have been one or two that aren't worthy of it, but overall, yes. :coffee2:

Perhaps not, but the point remains.

More a sign of reverence I suspect.

Just kidding, actually if it is used a name for a group then a word should probably be capitalized.

Stating an opinion or experience is not an attempted scam.

A scammer is a person who intentionally misleads a mark for financial gain, someone who attempts to swindle or mislead another for financial benefit.

Thanks, a perfect definition if I ever saw one.

That fits at least one of the regulars here, and did fit another (but after having an entire thread of his deleted, he decided to bow out for a little respite).

Now the question is; what do we call a person who defends and validates the contraption a "scammer" sells to swindle or mislead another for financial gain?

Junior scammer?
Accomplice to the act of scamming?
Scammer think alike?
Wannabe scammer?

Like Fox News, I report, you decide.

The scam is being perpetrated by people who claim they are here to save the world. When in fact the only thing they are doing is trying to stop the flow of information on this board…Art

What possible scam could the skeptics here be attempting when we stand to profit in no way whatsoever?
