Made it to the plantation again twice this past week, the second time with our own "smallfoot".

Nothing real exciting, but finding lots of interesting and unusual stuff.

My finds from Feb 18:

Before cleaning.

A couple more specialty axes, with one having been turned into what appears to be a wedge.

After cleaning:

Brass belt buckle; shotshell bases; brass pocket watch parts

Womens brass make-up container top; brass pill box top

Feb 23, finds (with smallfoot)

Following cleanup:

Shotgun shell bases dating some dating back into the late 1800's.
A tire schrader valve removal tool with Patent date: July 13, 1915, THE DILL MFG CO CLEVD O;
Old "Western Brand" brass button;
Old suspender buckle;

Huge chunk of melted lead! Remember, this plantation was Seminole Indian territory....

And we are just spot-checking this 68 acre property! So far, we have pulled 5 silver coins dating back to 1883, and probably a hundred shotgun shell bases.

Congrats on the multitude of finds! :icon_thumleft:

This place is amazing! You're killing it Chip! We keeping pulling all the trash and it will get easier to find the good stuff. Lots of untouched ground out there still and I can tell by hitting some of the same spots briefly that we are going to hit some good stuff by taking out the trash. Lots of ground not touched yet and gold is waiting on the coils....congrats on your finds and thanks for the invite!

Not bad at all it's good when you find lots of stuff means lots of activity which is good. Nice hunt
