Well not too much to look at and wasn't going to post until I found something nice but figured a group hunt of my last couple of hunts added up... Most of the musket balls were found with Iron Patch, along with 4 coins (Geo II-1740, 6 denier, 1812 token and wore out french coin), the other coins were from my other hunts and include George II and III with disk coppers. Other finds include; ox shoe, old knife, buckle, ramrod thimble, tombac buttons and one 2 piece designed button...

Nice hunt, old coppers, lots of lead, and company to keep it all interesting.
 

Yes I guess when you look at it that way, we are spoiled but when your used to having days like that all the time, and that being an accumulated hunt then you can see where I'm coming from...I hope to get out for some other decent hunts soon...

Yes, I know what you mean. We've had a string of four hunts without something to post (just some buttons, and not so much as an old coin of any sort). That's the way scouting trips go. But we finally broke the rut with Shane's recovery of an early 1800s artillery cuff.
