Yep, I have a litle bit of a problem with digging up graves, dependant on who they were and the time period the history covers, unless of course the intention is to rebury the bones in the homeland, or give to the relatives. And I do think caution needs to be excersised when handling unexploded bombs or grenades. I'm not familar with the layout of where you're digging nahabit, but just be careful just the same. As Jeff said, it's a Treasure Hunting forum, so keep up with the interesting relics.
Cheers Angela :)

I with pleasure would transfer bones to Germans or Swedes, but these countries do not want to recollect the past and refuse the the soldier taking place in Russian ground. Bombs and mines I assort on a part at me military education

sheesh the laws are different in mother russia not like here in the usa or other places .i think you guys need to relaxe and let him have his say i see nothing wrong with the fact that hes digging a grave thats 400 years old and telling the people of education of there were abouts.i dont hear ne one crying about all the spanish that died in the 1715 wreaks but we'd all like a peice of it.those are graves correct people died on those ships im sure.or about the mummies that they dig from peat bogs or the ice man in austria not by people of an educated background. a farmer digging peat for his stove finds a mummy digs it up puts it to the side and calls the authorities.he seeks these out for enjoyment maybe a little profit not unlike use HMMMM.so next time you find a stone tool or arrowhead think of nahabit because in our country and in australia there werent many europeans or others in either of these countries to speak of......SALUTE NAHABIT one day ill make it it russia WE will detect, dig ,eat and drink !!!

Binge at my expense!:)

thats funny ... ;D....

Very interesting thread and I have enjoyed reading it! Nahabit, nothing you are doing is wrong. Unfortunately, we have a great deal of hippocrites in the U.S. who don't THINK before they speak.

The skulls are particularly interesting and unusual. The "dead radio operator"......what is that sticking out of his right eye socket? Shrapnel? Is that embedded in the skull?

We regularly excavate Native American burial grounds and Civil War battle sites for "archaeological purposes". Of course, there is nothing wrong with that .... RIGHT Hippocrites? What's the big deal about what you are doing? In my opinion, you are doing a great service by gathering information about the past and informing the scientific community so that they can learn, publish, and teach the details of the finds.

All naysayers...please define what is "not right" about what he is doing? I am curious to hear your explanations...

In an eye at a skull his mortal medallion. At each German soldier the personal counter for an identification of the soldier was in case of his death, in this case it half.

Just a few questions.
Do you have a permit to do what you are doing? Are the local authorities aware of your presence? Do you record the location, the collection of items in regards to your digs? Are you qualified to do these digs?

no they do not need a permit, yes they are aware of them thye think they are nuts.they are qualified to do these diggs as 2 years in military as a sapper so he is able to defuse munitions.as far as recording goes thats nahabits part im not sure about that. dont think it really matters it is a battlefeild and it is russia they have millions on tons of WW2 relics......

Wow! That is some serious relic hunting, now I understand what you mean, LOL! I do not hunt that extreme. Be careful with those German grenades, a few kids found some about a week ago around Amberg Germany. They set one off, had enough sense to run but not far enough, the grenade exploded and one of the kids got hit with shrapnel. That is one good reason I do not hunt WWII relics. Nice pictures and finds Nahabit! HH, Mike

We do not have interdictions on excavation and we do not have private property on the ground areas, the ground belongs to people

I was bothered with conversations on explosions and srapnell, I know that I do - I am engaged in it 7 years and as you can see is still alive:)

In your country very strict laws they prevent people to live freely: (

we are free to speak out against our country, and politicians,
and the way things are run.

but Everything is owned by sombody.

Well, IF you call, having it in your name and having to pay taxes on it,
owning it.

What Isn't Private Property is owned by either,

City, County, State or U.s. Government.

BUT Very little can be Dug on, without Permission from someone.
