My first VA finds

Went hunting with NCfieldhunter and his Dad this weekend. Found my first VA artifacts. I now have personal finds in 13 different US states. I was stoked with the finds. Found a really nice quartz base off of a lance point. Would have been a great one to find whole. Then about 60 seconds later found a great quartz triangle with the tip missing. I know there's something wrong with me but I'd rather find a triangle than just about any other point type. All of you guys with bountiful mississippian sites surely think I'm crazy. I'll take a good madison over a good 3" adena any day of the week. Or on a good day I'd find them both. I also found a '43s steel wheatie at Kroger today so I used it for sizing.

Thanks for looking
Joe

I thought that was a steel penny. Been a lot cooler if it were copper. That triangle piece would have been a sweet one if not broken. Oh well, better luck next time. Hope you make it back soon. You are a good friend!!
