My First Seated Half!- updated cleaned pics

I don't hunt alot of spots that are conducive to American coins like this, but I'll take them every time! This may have been dropped by a hunter, probably soon after the mint date from the looks of it. It sure was a nice suprise. :icon_sunny: Now I'm going to try and clean it without scratching it...


I decided to just blot it with a camel hair brush under running water. The front doesn't look as good as the reverse, but not too bad.

Great find there and as you said, it looks to be in pristine condition. I would love to see it all cleaned up to better view the details.

Beautiful find! Try cleaning it with just water to begin with. Don't break out the polish just yet.

I too would leave as is but if you must..... take Tarter sauce powder and a little water and a q-tip,gently rub the black off!!!
