..... and wouldn't ya believe it, it's friggin wood! Yes, wood. lol Go ahead and laugh all you want, I'm still groaning about it a couple days later. My wife felt so bad for me she made up for it... I mean she made me feel better... uh, oh whatever. Anywhoo, I found it because I knelt on top of it in the grass as I was digging a target. Go figure.

Here she is in all her wooden glory. Can anyone tell me what the symbols on it are or say or mean? The other pic is of the rest of the days finds. Thanks for looking. Please try to keep your laughing under control! :P

I see no nickels; are you sure you are not hunting with your discrimation set too high?
Actually, the pulltabs are a good sign to me even though the rectangular ones, like the ones you show in your picture
often ring up as silver on my Minelabs. To find the really good stuff, I find I must concentrate moving very slow, digging
any iffy sound. The main thing is to ----

Haha thanks guys! No, the Beer token says No Cash Value on the other side. I found 2 of them no more than 4" apart.

Ya weird, I've never recovered a nickel yet. Does that mean I'm missing the gold too Arrrrrg!! I get a couple quarters but by far mostly a few dimes and pennies galore. And lots of trash of course.

I understand our Canadian coinage rings up different on all these American made detectors, would that have anything to do with it?

Two of the same beer tokens 4" apart? Somebody was irritated by the time they made it down to the old watering hole. Wood ring is prety cool actually. I don't think I have seen one like it. But the beer tokens rock. I have yet to find a token but have fallen in love with them from this board. Pretty neat pieces of local history sometimes. Nice finds and HH
