I have been looking at this site for about a week after surfing on to it. It has created a spark in me that I am afraid is going to cost me plenty. I have purchased a new bounty hunter off of EBAY and cant wait till it arrives and I can go hunting on the beach, for starters.. I have no idea how good this detector will be but for a starter I think it will work just fine. The info I have got from this site is awesome and has kept me rivited..

Seems strange to me that people in the old days spread coins across the earth like chicken feed,,,wife thinks it was the wagons and horses that shook things out of peoples pockets. Seems like they are every where a human has stood,,,,,,,wierd...I never lose money........

In response to your statement above. If youget the chance swing your detector around the swingsets at a local park and see how much change you find. It just slides out of the pockets.
Gotta love paygrounds and festival areas.
