I went out yesterday in the woods for an hour and the very first signal I got was this beauty, she was down about 6 inches deep. Man I'll tell ya it took me every bit of 20 minuets to break her free from the frozen ground but the thought of giving up on it never crossed my mind. I'm surprised that I found an IH before I found a wheatie!!! I also found a few clad and some junk. I sure hope the weather warms up the ground soon!!! :icon_pirat:

Nice find & video. Sure would have sucked if it would have been something other then a coin after 20 minutes of hard labor! :'(

nice job! i can relate to digging in this frozen stuff! hey it's worth it sometimes.can't keep an avid detectorist cooped up no matter how cold it is out! :headbang:
