my first old coin

this 1868 indianhead one cent piece is a different<the indianhead side says united states of america and the one in the book says liberty .Whats the deal?

Hey Diggin, nice find. I am going to up the anti on your coin, since I can read the complete LIBERTY on the headband of the indian, it is at least in fine condition and is worth at least $65.00. That is one humdinger of a first old coin find. Congrats. Lance
