My first gold find!

Today I found my first piece of gold! It's a small gold ring with 3 small diamonds! I'm so very excited! I found it on a beach area at a lake. I was using my Fisher 1280 x Aquanaut! I was only in about 2 feet of water and the ring was about 3 inches below the top of the sand! The only other find this morning was a very corroded Lincoln penny about 10 inches down under a grassy part of the beach. Hard, wet sand, under grass! 1.3 grams of 14K! What! What!

Thanks again for the positive comments! Yes I'm hooked. I was only in the water for about an hour and barely covered the swimming area, so yes! I will be going back to get the rest of it! Like I said, it was only in about 2 feet of water and the swimming area goes out to about 5 feet! Gotta be more!
