Naw, it aint! Adam & Eve found some even older and rarer! The snake just loved his soda & his beer but he didn't believe in trash cans. ha-ha! Andi

That is rare! I think it is Confederate as they often enjoyed a cold beer out of a can along with some grilled burgers. Great find and you had better keep your spot to yourself. Tennessee digger

That is just wrong. But pretty funny...

Amazingly rare. Never found one before (: *sarcasm*

Up here in Minnesota we call that a Deluxe Norwegian Wedding Ring. It doubles as a wedding ring and nose picker. If the little tab isn't attached, it is just a Standard Norwegian Wedding Ring..................... UFFDA !NorskRings.jpg

This is a specimen that I believe is similar to others I've seen posted here before (but I'll have to double-check). After a bit of research, I believe you will be able to find out more about your find. I'm sure others on this forum will be able to inform you further about it as well. There's quite a knowledgeable collection of folks here that are always willing to identify objects and share what they know!

hehe

Might be a banner find...

May be to other purposes, just the shape and now the very similar.

these are the best!!! you break off the tab, insert it in the slot, pull back on the ring and let that sucker fly like a UFO (yes, I still do it every time I find one heh, heh) :icon_thumright:

The one thing that I have grown to hate is that I've learned my machine well enough to know a pulltab's sound. I try to say what each signal is before I dig. I know, if I rely on that I will miss out on a LOT of stuff. Even these rare items. ;)

I have found that 8 out of 10 times I am correct. The trouble is, those other 2 times. I SO want to say, pulltab and just move on. Sometimes, I do but most of the time the nagging doubt makes me circle back and dig. Proving myself right and it feels like such a waste of time! Even if I could get it to 9 out of 10, I would probably still dig. (shrug)

If ANYONE finds the person who first came up with pulltabs as an idea, would you PLEASE direct them to me? I have a few things I'd like to disgust, oops, I mean discuss with them!

Damn the pulltabs! Full speed ahead!!!

the inventor of the pull tab is in the bahamas on the beach with one of those drinks with a little umbrella in it

Good! Thanks for the info! Now I'll know where to hunt next after I have my TALK with him. ;)

No, sorry. It's not rare at all. It's just a pull tab...*sarcasm*

YOU are sooo lucky:4leafclover: I never seen one before nor even come close:):icon_thumleft::thumbsup:

I thought I was the only one who still does that.
