Did some digging at one of my "go to" spots when I'm tight for time, after popping some old coins out of the dirt I decided to stay a while! And glad I did.. my very last find on the way out was this awesome 1876 cc quarter!

Congrats on a cool CC Seated quarter! I just dug my first Seated quarter last week but it has no mint mark. Seeing that CC on there sure is a nice bonus.

That's a pretty sharp looking barber.

Thanks J.Cache! The barber was really nice, it also kept me swinging when I was thinking about leaving!

Lots of nice coins there. Looks like a great place to hunt. What does your token say?

It's a love token that says Paula & Morris forever. I'm hunting at an amusement park that started in the 1840's and has been closed down for 20+ years.

The Standard Metal Typer was made in 1938 - 1985. So it dates between them. Lots of amusement parks had them.

Looks like you will find a lot of variety of dates since it was in operation that long. Nice

AWESOME!!!! Congrats!

Congratualtions on the nice silver find! :occasion14:

Great group of finds! Love that CC mm, I'm still looking for my first.

Thanks for the info Scuba, I have no idea how old it could be. I'm off from work tomorrow, I'm thinking about heading there again!

Congrats, that's huge! I toured the Carson City mint building a few years ago. Very cool place since they only minted Gold and Silver coins. They have a shadow box on the wall with a sample of each of those coins! Would love to have that on my wall!

That must be a sizeable parcel. A fella or gal could spend a lot of time there and not run out of good targets!! Great recoveries!!

Wow, great find. CC silver has magic powers - use those powers with caution! Congrats

Rich, all the coins are great, but that quarter is SO awesome! We have yet to find one. Congrats. -Lisa & John

Very nice find! I rarely find "S" mint marks on silver coins, not to mention a CC mint mark. Has to be a rare find in New England.
