my first Buffalo head nickel

I guess that old Park still has some old coins to be found!, my first buffalo head nickel and my oldest coin so far. A very good day for me!

Nice coin....some people are still hunting with a lot of discrimination to get the silver and really good tartgets.Still lots of nickles and things to find....

Im jealous, carpel. It must feel great to find a buffalo nickel, and have a date on it. I traveled up to San Francisco to hunt Golden Gate Park (Big Rec field) and found three buffalo nickels; none of them had dates.

That is one sweet looking nickel. Most of the one's I find that have legible dates are 36 and 37's
