Yes its a very good link and the only link I know of about these old utility/advertisement buttons. They were mostly used by shoddy tailors and textile makers.

My theory is a very long time ago a English immigrant was a grounds keeper at the state mentel hospital still had cloths that he brought over from England and lost a button on his long John's while working at the hospital..
