Hello all!
It has been raining all day here in CT but after studying the radar i decided to take advantage of a couple hour break between showers. I thought it would be a great time to hit a middle school a few Towns over that always has either soccer practice or a game going on as i figured the games were canceled, and i was right. This was only the second time I've got to detect it. The first time i pulled a Merc and a Rosie out so i figured there was more. It started off slow with only one wheat and some clad in the first hour. I made my way behind one of the soccer goals and got a beautiful sounding 12-44, 12-45 about 5"down and i was thinking silver dime but instead popped out a Nice silver turquoise ring..sweet. I made my way to the side of the other soccer field where i pulled the Merc out of last time and got a nice sounding 12-42 about 6"down and i was thinking wheat cent..boy i was surprised when i popped out my first ever barber! A 1907 dime! Of course i grazed lady liberty's face with my lesche but i don't care, i still love it! That's silver #70 for me this year. Not bad for a rainy day hunt. hope you all had great days. Thanks for looking/commenting. Happy hunting everyone.
