My finds from the GW button hunt with Old School Evan + today's...

Hey everyone,
I decided to revise my post so Old School Evan could properly display his outstanding find! So yes as he stated I pulled a few small buckles, a spoon and a (holed) CT copper that I haven't quite ID'd yet. It appears to be a 1785 variety of some type, mailed bust facing right. I tried to use coinfacts.com to ID it but was unsuccessful. Today I got two buttons(one gold guided) a buckle of some type, a crotal bell and a whatchamacallit thingy (no idea). Also sorry I haven't responded to many of the outstanding finds made recently, been kinda busy but Congrats is in order for many of you! Anyways, thanks for looking and HH! :sunny:

From the land of the Bluenose.....neat finds and I would without a doubt go back to that spot for another look see!

Looks like there's plenty enough to ID but is tough without clear pictures. I didn't see what looked like a 1785 match on Coinfacts either, and if that turns out to be the case it's a very good thing because it raises the chances of it being a rarer variety. But again, without clearer pics it's pretty tough for anyone else to tackle this, and at this point I can't even rule out the Coinfacts pics which is always my first step when ID'ing these.

Really tough with the blurry photos and also the angled shots which throws off the distances between spots needed for ID, but the closest I have come to so far is this one, better photos or perhaps just you comparing this photo with your coin might be a yay or nay on this variety.......

I'd bet that is it... as long as there's no fugio syndrome. :laughing7:

Same here with Coinfacts pics IP, thanks for trying regardless and I intend to remedy this blurry pic business asap!
